Sex Problems for Men
Retarded Ejaculation can mean being almost completely unable to come ever, or being able to ejaculate only certain situations. For example, it may be impossible to ejaculate with a partner but it is possible in masturbation. Some men need a lot of quite strong and vigorous stimulation to ejaculate, and they tend to give up too early.
- Certain prescribed drugs can affect ejaculation - if this is the case the therapist may suggest you discuss the situation with your doctor.
- If you cannot ejaculate under any circumstances, there might be a physical cause for the problem you should seek medical help.
- The cause may be anxiety, stress at home or at work, or it may be performance anxiety affecting the ability to ejaculate. Sex Therapy would be useful.
- Sometimes the reasons are unconscious and psychotherapy is the sensible route forward.
