Loss of Sexual Desire or Libido
It is normal for a woman not to feel desire.
Some women are born with a low level of sex drive so may not ever feel much desire. There is nothing wrong with them.
Loss of Sexual Desire means no longer feeling desire or hunger for sex when you did before. It can happen at any time. For many people, once a sexual relationship has got going, after a few weeks or months, they stop feeling desire, and that is normal for them. Not feeling desire does not mean you won't enjoy sex and feel satisfied by it.
Medical Causes
Sometimes there can be a medical cause for Loss of Sexual Desire, such as thyroid problems, brain tumour, post natal depression or other depression, hormone imbalance, so if in any doubt, see a doctor.
Emotional Causes
Anything which upsets you can stop you feeling desire. These are not always obvious causes. A miscarriage or abortion, a death in the family, redundancy, a crime or accident or financial problems can all affect your sex life.
Desire sometimes come back by itself, if the cause of it goes away.
