Has anyone come across a boyfriend who is needy and insecure? and how have you dealt with it?

Needy & insecure partner

This is a common and tricky situation. Will your partner become less needy and insecure over time, or are you being used to make up for a deficiency in him or her that really started in the family of origin, and leaves you dealing with a bottomless pit? Nobody can fill a bottomless pit, and those who try end up feeling drained and unhappy for trying. Only you can decide.
Be aware of your own needs in this relationship, and whether or not they are being met enough for you to feel comfortable. If you are giving out and not enough is coming back, is that ok for you?
