Loose Vagina

Hi, my girlfriend is a virgin and we tried to have intercourse 3 times just before her period. My question is she do women become more easily aroused just before their period and can their vagina be more easily penetrated? ie does it become more loose? I ask this because she did not bleed and I was inside her but she was saying she couldnt really feel anything. Is this normal?? I appreciate any feedback anyone might have.

Vagina before period

The vagina is not more open before a period, although some women feel more sexy then but others do not. There are no nerve endings inside the vagina, so all it feels is pressure, which is why she doesn't feel anything. Women's sexual pleasure comes from the clitoris, and although the vagina does respond to erotic stimulus it takes time and practise for a woman to learn how to key into this.
It is quite normal not to bleed.
