If you bleed during sex what does that mean?

Meanings for bleeding

There could be a number of reasons for bleeding during sex. These could include, for men, infection, broken foreskin, polyp in the genital tract, broken blood vessel in the genital tract, prostate gland problemsm and other possibilities. For women, reasons could include infection, erosion on the cervix (neck of the womb), polyps, broken blood vessels, hormonal problems and many other possibilities. Any unexplained or irregular bleeding should have a medical asessment.
