sex once a day

Whenever I do sex I could perform only once in a day.
Why is it so?

I'm 56 now and would love to be able to have sex once a day. When i was 45, i could have sex 4 or 5 times a day- maybe 7 or 8 times a day at 20. One thing i have found is that the more sex you have the easier it is to have more.

Refractory period

Men have a "Refractory Period" after having an ejaculation and for this time they cannot have another ejaculation. The length of time varies from one man to another and gets longer as a man gets older. A man in his 30's or 40's would be able to come once a day, a man in his 70's, maybe once a week. This is normal.
