Is there a "too tight"? I have been having problems with my boyfriend penetrating me even with a few fingers. Let alone his penis. We have tried to have sex a few times although it failed because it was just too painful. Is this just being "virginal" or is it something more than that. It just doesn't seem normal to me.I have talked to other girls and they say that they are nowhere near as tight as I am. No matter how much I try to relax it doesn't seem to help at all. Is there something wrong with me?

Possibly Vaginismus

There is no such thing as too tight, although fear and tension can cause tightness. You may have a thing called Vaginismus.</a> This means the vaginal muscles tighten up against your will, and have to be trained to relax. It is fixable, there is usually nothing terribly wrong, but a medical examination, or examination by someone qualified to assess this would be a good idea.

what if i darnt go to the doc

what if i daren't go to the doctors. i'm too embarrassed. i have spoke to a nurse and she says have a couple of drinks and try to relax and it will eventually go in but is bound to hurt a little. im moving in with my boyfriend in a couple of months and want to do it.
