I have worked for the last thirty years within the caring professions; my background is in mental health, social services, the NHS and private practice. I have worked as a psychosexual and relationship therapist and psychotherapist for the last twenty years. I was Consultant Psychosexual Therapist at the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust for seven years and now hold this post at St Anselm's Institute in Margate, where I am involved in a new training initiative amongst the clergy. I was the first person in the UK to achieve an MSc in psychosexual therapy. I have written several papers and articles, facilitate groups, and have given lectures both in the UK and overseas. I regularly contribute to writing new policy documentation for a variety of agencies.
