I have been a medical practitioner for 25 years and have for the last 15 years practised sexual and relationship therapy.

After reading medicine at Cambridge, I trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, where I remained for six years. I then moved to Africa where I worked both in a conventional hospital and with an International Red Cross scheme.

On my return to Europe, my concern with the frontiers of human condition and in particular, human behaviour and the mind, led to the study of Psychological Medicine and then Sexual Medicine.

I am registered as a psychotherapist and am accredited by the British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy of which I am a founder member.

Current Interests
Areas of professional interest include maintaining vitality and optimal sexual function in the 50+ age group. I am particularly interested in problems where medical and psychological concerns overlap, helping those with sexual difficulties to lead fulfilling relationships and from working with couples whose relationships are in crisis.
