Partner Therapy Group

Name :

The name of the group shall be "The Partner Therapy Group"

Aim:

To promote healing, growth, and enrichment for gay and straight individuals and partners, who seek the services of the Partner Therapy Group

Objectives:

1) To provide information to the public about sexual and relationship issues and therapy.
2) To provide introductions to professionals, working in the field of sexuality and relationships, for members of the public who seek their services.
3) To support other professionals in the field by offering formal teaching, supervision and training.
4) To assist the media by giving information and guidance in the making of articles and features on the topic of human sexuality, relationships, and similar issues.

Activities:

1) Promoting the group, by making reference to it on literature, brochures, web sites and handouts, etc.
2) Marketing the group with mail shots, press releases and other activities.
3) Writing and designing a web site to give the public information about the group and how to contact its members.
4) Responding to enquiries received from the web site.
5) Two Mail Lists will be maintained, the Internal List for the members only
and the External List for people registering to receive it, and anyone else who might be interested

Membership Criteria:

All are UKCP Registered Psychotherapists, or Medical Practitioners with a specialist interest in the field of sexuality and relationships.
All are bound by the Codes of Ethics and Practice of British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy.

Procedure for joining the Group:

Personal recommendations and invitation only.
However, we welcome professional who wish to join our forums discussions.
