Help me [to stop chatting to girls]

For the past 3-4 months, i have been talking to girls on the internet. These chats would get rather x rated. i found myself neglecting my gf. She has noticed too, and switched onto my computer, logged on and saw the chat logs. Obviously she feels very upset and angry. I too feel ashamed of myself and i cant bear to lose her.. Why did i do it? I dont know!!

Any tips or advice on how to stop and not want to talk to them?

I do love her. Just the last 3-4 months i have probably been sexually satisfied talkin to them rather than her. Im asking for advice.

1. your wise to see early that will get you into trouble.
2. your girlfriend will not likely forget this betrayal, your relationship is likely doomed.
3. seek some help, if you have to start new JUST DON'T do it again.
4. sounds too simple but just say NO and then don't go there.
5. picture yourself making love to yourself for the rest of your life because real women aren't going to put up with that BS for long (unless they are stupid like me, took me awhile to even figure out what the real problem was. I was too busy making it all my fault).
6. the chats, porn, calls all eat away at a GF self esteme and confidence, loss that and you lose EVERYTHING eventually.
7. try to save yourself the pain of this...what you don't know you have you wont come to rely on. The real deal will always be more satisfying physically, sexually, emotionally than that darn box. TURN IT OFF and keep it off.
8. if you really want to win her back, admitt your jerkiness, show her you can get off and stay off and keep telling her that she's the one for you. keep showing her the computer to prove your off and live a clean and open book life. if she really isn't for you, cut her lose and save both of you a world of heartache.
9. picture the phone sex ladies as your grandmother or 66, 750 lbs or a transexual... those visions might help you be repulsed enough to stop. A woman's voice can be very misleading...you'd probably be really surprised at who you are talking to.
10. don't turn outside your relationship for satisfaction it's part of what is supposto make us human. Dogs just do it and can't help it.. are you a man or a dog?

Make love to her mind and her body will follow!

a bit confused

to be honest it sounds like a simple self control issue to me. like eating too much chocolate... just dont buy any? if the computer is a problem for you then just dont use it, or use it for whatever work or research you need, and then turn it off.

you dont HAVE to sit on chat lines wasting your time on people that arent your girlfriend, especially not if you do actually care about your relationship.

i dont want to be rude but try going out more and maybe go out more with your girlfriend? then the pc might present less of a temptation.

You need more than advice if you are not able to stop what you are doing. Do a search on help for compulsive sexual behaviours and learn more about this and what is available to you.
