somthing is wrong with my penis

I am 18 years old, and I have always been very insecure about my penis. It's very small, a lot smaller than my friends' and even my younger brother. It's about 3 inches when not erect, which I've read in many magazines and websites is quite normal, but the problem is when I am turned on and have an erection, it doesn't get any bigger. It goes from 3 inches soft to 4 1/2 inches hard, it's also very thin, but what's most confusing to me is when I watch porn movies or anything sex related, men's penises go very long, hard and you can usually see viens and the foreskin comes back. When I have an erection it looks the same as when it's floppy, it only goes slightly harder, the foreskin doesnt come back either. Is this some kind of known illness or am I suffering from some kind of mental illness I am unaware of? or am I just a very unlucky male?

Nothing wrong

Do not compare yourself with the men in porn movies, they are selected for their abnormally large penises as it looks more dramatic on film. The women are acting too, as that is what their job is. In life, a large penis is a bit frightening and does not give more pleasure.
I suggest you get a good video/DVD, like "Lover's Guide" or "Making Love" and learn what is good in lovemaking and then practice giving and receiving pleasure. You will find that there is nothing wrong with your penis.

porno stars

There's a reason why porno stars are in porno movies.
I would hardly call an increase from 3" to 4.5" the same. That's a 50% increase. I've heard (and read) from females that it's not so much the size but the fit... That is how comfortable it feels to have your penis inside. Of course, there are women who say it's all about size, and maybe for them it is... Then there are those that are afraid of a big penis. Have you seen Full Metal Jacket... There's a short scene where an African American wants a Vietnamese whore to screw him. She won't cause she's afraid of the size of his penis. So he has to show her it's of a normal size. The only thing I would worry about is if it's still floppy when it's hard. There are degrees of hard too. If it's as hard as it gets and it's still floppy, then I'd just ask a doctor about that. Penis size also depends on race/ethnicity so you might look into that... and be comforted by the fact that throughout history men with penis sizes lesser than yours have gotten laid time and time again by satisfied women.
