My boyfriend and I are both virgins and now we're starting to try to have sex. Problem is, whenever he tries to enter me, I tense up and it then hurts down there. I did have my first gynocologist exam, that didn't feel so good either. I was taking birth control pills and then I recently stopped because I didn't like the side effects (I will switching to something else soon). Thing is, once I began the pill, it became harder for me to become wet down there. Now it's always dry and even when I'm stimulated, it doesn't become that wet down there (well not as wet as it became before I was on the pill). I know I'm supposed to be well lubricated before we have sex, but it's become harder for me to do that.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get used to him entering me? I've never even used tampons before and it's stressing both of us out. It's harder for us to become intimate in the bedroom...I mean, I want to have sex, but I am just afraid of the pain down there. How can I get him to enter me without me tensing up? If anyone has any suggestions or websites I could take a look at, that'd be terrific. Thank you so much!
