arousal whats that

I have never had the fortune to experience an orgasm with or without my husband of 25 years, we have tried so many different things, but it occurred to me that I'm not even sure if I feel aroused!! I have read so many articles about feeling the sensations etc, but for me there aren't any sensations that come along at all, I feel no different when kissing and cuddling or having sex than typing this or cleaning the bathroom, help please what can we do?

Body changes with arousal

It is not that unusual for woman to be unaware of being aroused, so it is possible that in sex you are getting aroused but don't feel it.
The most obvious sign of arousal in women is wetness in the vagina, but even this is not reliable as some vaginas actually change very little. This change can happen without you being aware of it.
Other changes are increased heart rate and breathing, but again you might not notice these, or they could be only slight.
If you wanted to spend time on this, there is a book called "Becoming Orgasmic: a sexual growth programme for women" by Julia Heiman and Joseph LoPiccolo, available from www.amazon.co.uk which you might find interesting.

we have read just about

We have read just about every book on the market and I have tried many of the suggestions out, however I'm unsucessful and having no response with any of it at all, not a spark, not a tingle, not a feeling even slightly nice, I'm getting so disheartened by it all. We have tried just about all stimulation etc thats known to man or woman and none of it works. I just dont feel a thing at all, why?

To be honest with you I'm starting to get really bored of all of this and I'm starting to hate any contact with my hubby at all, it just produces this huge amount of pain from my clit and vagina and it certainly cant be called pleasure in the slightest, its just not any fun and never has been, what the hell is wrong with me?

i dont know whether it was a full hormone one or not, but i did request and got a hormone level done last june, that came back as everything was fine, but well, fine for the population and fine for me are two different things! i mean how do they know if ive never had a hormone check before what is my normal level, for me it might have been low or even high, who knows?
