occasional pain

Why does it hurt, occasionally, when my boyfriend and I are having sex? It feels like he might be pushing on my cervix or something behind it? what could cause the pain? Could it be a tilted uterus?

Pain with sex

The commonest cause of pain with intercourse in women is not being properly aroused! If you are properly aroused the penis won't push on the cervix.
The next commonest cause of pain is anxiety and tension, so the body does not relax, and it all feels tight and uncomfortable.
Some positions are uncomfortable and can hurt.
If the uterus is tilted back, (retroverted), this can sometimes cause pain in some positions, but is not usually a problem.
