Hello there
Today my girlfriend introduced me to one of her co-workers as a friend. Now let me give you a little background. I'm 23 years old, have been with her for 13 months, I love her two kids like my own, I treat them out, she has said im the perfect boyfriend. I do everything for them. As for her she is 30 just started a new job and I'm her longest relationship ever, but today at the oil and gas show we bumped into eachother and she introduced me as a friend.

I know where she is comming from, being a female in the oil and gas business in Alberta isnt easy, so she acts available but must not be available. I can totaly see that. But when it comes to me actually meeting co-workers I'm more than just some date or boyfriend. I'm common law her partner. She had the ignorance to introduce me as a friend!!! When it comes to me im always happy to tell people she is my girlfriend. I'm pround to call her that, but it seems to me that she is either not ready to be in this serious relationship or she is embarassed to let her co-workers know she is not single. She sayes its just a business thing but its more than that, she doesn't want me to hang out with her and her friends like we used to when we first dated.

Well thats kinda my predicament. sorry about the spelling or any other grammar problems. I'm pretty hurt by what she has said to me. I never knew love could hurt like this. I need others opinions . I need your help..
