first time sex

I just had sex for the first time - it was pretty painful and I had some moderate vaginal bleeding afterwards. Do I need to see a doctor about this? And should I wait to have sex again until I figure out what's going on?

First time sex

It can be quite painful the first time, which is just bad luck. Usually it gets better with practice and you don't need to wait for a particular time to pass before doing it again. Bleeding after first time sex is not that unusual, so you do not need to see a doctor at this point.
In general however, any unexplained or irregular bleeding needs medical advice.
